Lucy and her Kittens

3 girls and 2 boys... we think

My mom checked underneath their skirts... We know the calicos are girls (always are), and we believe the grey is, too. The oranges we think are little males.
This is my little girl. She's not quite sure about these tiny squeaky things... yet!

Ah, there are five!

Lucy is a natural Mommy -- she just lays down and purrs away while her babies eat. There are 2 orange tabbies, 2 calicos, and 1 grey tabby. They're so precious!
They make the tiniest little squeaky sounds, mostly when they're hungry. They can move around a little bit, but their eyes are still closed.

They're Here!

It was pretty late when I discovered Lucy purring away at her new little bundles, so I didn't want to disturb them. I had to get a picture, though! She had them in the crate we set up for her. I'm glad she didn't have them in a tiny nook somewhere. I'm pretty sure there are at least 4 little heads in this picture.

Lucy Lou

Here is Miss Lucy Lou:
She was a pretty relaxed pregnant Momma! She definitely likes company; she hangs around our feet when we're out in the garage with her. This is not her best shot -- I had trouble taking a good picture of her since she just wanted to stay by my legs!

Her belly was a little more pronounced than it looks here, but she was a pretty thin kitty. She's enjoying her meals at our house!
